On January 5th, the Nutter Administration closed seven fire companies in Philadelphia neighborhoods. These closures, along with cuts to neighborhood library branches and recreation centers, are part of city budget cuts that are primarily affecting Philadelphia's poor and working class residents.

Erika Almiron, of Media Mobilizing Project, interviewed Dave Kearney of the Philadelphia Firefighters’ Union. He explains how the mayor’s cuts to firestations will affect firefighters and Philadelphians.
